Zoids

Posted by soreal

You have probably seen the animated series, if so, you would know more about zoids than I would. I have heard of this toy from friends before and I think I may have seen an episode or two but that's it. It was only yesterday that I came face to face and was formally introduced to a zoid named Hayate Liger. As it is, my guy is an avid fan of Zoids (Spiderman, Transformers, X-men, etc) and with my consent (I had to say yes) bought one which he painstakingly assembled last night. Everytime I tell him the toy looks the same to me before he assembled the parts and now, he would give me that hurt puppy look hihi so silly and cute. Well anyway, I posted the before and after pic so you can decide if it looks different at all.

For The Love of The Foot

Posted by soreal

Yesterday we went back to Nuat Thai because if you remember I posted awhile back that we had such a rewarding 1st time experience there; we vowed to always go there every payday. This time around we opted for the hour long foot massage instead of the body massage we had the last time. Oh I swear over Jose Rizal's grave, their foot massage is just the bomb!
When we got there, they helped us take off our footwear so we can change into some comfortable slippers. Then they led us into this dimly lit place where we can hear the sound of waves and birds chirping. It's like being transported into another place. Well I guess it also helped that they had out feet soaked in a vibrating basin of lukewarm water. After that they put this sort of heated pillow at the lower back and the neck area. Well whoever thought of that heated pillow touch is a genius, it's very therapeutic, it really eased all the tension on the lower back, neck and shoulders. Then the official massage started. They had begun with our hands which is another plus point. I love how they put pressure in all the reflexology points of the hands. When they did our feet, it just felt oh so good that I fell asleep so I couldn't give you much of what went on but I'm sure my feet loved every moment of it.
Our feet are the most tired part of our body, not to mention the most taken for granted part as well. Don't you just salute your feet for supporting your weight all these years? I can't help but be amazed with mine, how it is considered rather tiny (size 5) yet it carries my increasing body mass just fine. People should really get a foot massage or foot spa instead of just a pedicure. It's the least we can do for our feet.

Payday Fever

Posted by soreal

Happy morning guys! It's payday and I feel so tired today :'( my feet just hurt from walking. You must be wondering why since I have one of those jobs that pay you for sitting your buns out the whole shift. Well dada and I walked from I2 to Skyrise to grab breakfast then walked towards Ila Puti at I1 coz we still wanted to eat. I love Pasta Puti , Strawberry Milk Slush and dada's order which name I totally can't recall hehe so I’ll call it whatever it's spicy binagoongan rice with FIlipino style adobo. The big bosses of I2 CVG arrived soon after we've settled with our orders but we just gave them a casual wave and went on to enjoy our food. No sense engaging in a lengthy uncomfortable chat.

Earlier in the day we went to SM to unwind and pay some bills. The funny thing was we had this really big, stupid fight when we were inside the taxi going there. Poor taxi driver, caught in the middle of the word shoot out. I decided to cool down because it was just another one of those cases when I overreact to something. And that was when the driver narrated the story of his life, what his life is with his wife and 4 kids. He was so wrong if he thought it would get him a tip. Well anyway dada took some shots coz I was wearing the kimono I bought online. Oh and this was after the war. ^_^

Kimono Dress

Posted by soreal

Weeehhhh! I just got one of the three itmes I purchased online hehehe and it even came with a phone charm freebie (so cute) I can't wait to try the Kimono on and post pictures but for the moment I will let you see the dress anyway. I love the deep cut of both the front and back side, so sexy I swear. Cheers! ^_^

Another Off

Posted by soreal

I like the Monday & Tuesday off but not the 7pm shift packaged with it. It's because sleep comes to me at around 3pm so you do the math. Maybe I should just change my sleeping pattern and learn how to sleep during mornings instead of afternoons. I enjoy going home while the sun is still not up though and I love how Dada and I have the same days off. We have more time together, we go to the malls, eat out, take pictures and watch movies. ^_^
how do you find these photoshoot samples?

Made A Bid Again

Posted by soreal

Well i'm just waiting for the other 3 items i've won in ebay.ph to be sent to me. I should have them this week and i'm so excited to wear them, snap a shot and post it here hehe I'm bidding for another item, it's another poncho to be exact. Dada asked, "what's with you and ponchos and kimonos?" hehe what indeed! cheers!

What Do You Do When You're Bored?

Posted by soreal

Let me start this post out with a big yawn (yawning). Since i'm at work and there really is nothing to do here at the moment (yawning again) might as well just right about it. We're left with the task of entertaining ourselves. So what do you guys do when there's nothing to do at work and you're bored to death? Some of my friends are playing TexTwist or Puzzle (been there) others are watching movies (done that) (yawning again)

So can anyone help me out? -_-

Birthday Breakfast w/o the Celebrant

Posted by soreal

It was Dada's 22nd birthday yesterday (Holy Thursday) so this is a late post. He was unhappy about the fact that his birthday fell on a day when society takes a halt in yielding to carnal pleasure. He works in Banawa so he couldn’t be with me and Wena that morning to have an early morning celebration. That didn’t stop us from eating heartily though hehe Wena and I celebrated his birthday with a sizable breakfast at Mocha Blends. I had Carbonara which I absolutely loved, Bolognese which I didn’t enjoy so much and House Blend Iced Tea Wena had Australian Beef Stew, Napolitana and Strawberry Kiwi. We never intended to gorge so much that morning but we did anyway and we went home each feeling queasy. That explains why I wasn’t able to post this yesterday instead.

The Vanity Tumbler

Posted by soreal

Well I don't know if you've seen one before and I wouldn't have thought a tumbler like this one existed. It's a tumbler with mirror, cute if you ask me hehe very handy for that quick fix or if you want to check your face while working at your desk. You wouldn't look so obvious unlike when you open your purse and take out a compact mirror. Don't ask me where I bought it coz it's one of those customized corporate prizes. It's Dada's but he gave it to me since he figured I would have more use for it anyway.

My Ebay Bids

Posted by soreal

I just won my first ever ebay.ph bid last Sunday. It's a pre-loved pink poncho. I met up with the seller last Sunday and I was very pleased with her and the item. These days I find myself attracted to Kimono dresses, wraps and ponchos. I love the cut, it compliments every girl's figure and makes me feel very feminine. The 2nd item I won at ebay.ph is this lovely black Kimono dress and it's not pre-owned^_^

Monday Off

Posted by soreal

So finally Dada and I have same days off (mon & tues). We left the house at 9am Monday, went to the bank and made a deposit. We saw freaky and his bebe at F salon getting a haircut. I decided to try their services coz they're new and I was feeling like a critique (winks) I had the Choco something treatment ( I forgot the actual name) but the treatment left my hair smelling like chocolate and super shiny! Dada said my hair's choco smell makes him want to chew it off grrr since I had such a wonderful experience with them, I decided to become a customer right away. We went to Nuat Thai after for an hour massage and it was so relaxing! Dada and I agreed that we like their massage better than Body n Sole's. I will got there another time for an hour feet massage.

Girls VS Grown Women

Posted by soreal

Want to share a very nice forwarded email:

Girls want to control the man in their life.
Grown women know that if he's truly
hers, he doesn't need controlling.
Girls check you for not calling them.
Grown women are too busy to realize you
hadn't.
Girls are afraid to be alone.
Grown women revel in it-using it as a
time for personal growth.
Girls ignore the good guys.
Grown women ignore the bad guys.
Girls make you come home.
Grown women make you want to come home.
Girls leave their schedule wide-open and
wait for a guy to call and make plans.
Grown women make their own plans and
nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits.
Girls worry about not being pretty
and/or good enough for their man.
Grown women know that they are pretty
and/or good enough for any man.
Girls try to monopolize all their man's
time (i.e., don't want him hanging with
his friends).
Grown women realize that a lil' bit of
space makes the "together time" even
more special-and goes to kick it with
her own friends.
Girls think a guy crying is weak.
Grown women offer their shoulder and a
tissue.
Girls want to be spoiled and "tell"
their man so.
Grown women "show" him and make him
comfortable enough to reciprocate
without fear of losing his manhood.
Girls get hurt by one man and make all
men pay for it.
Grown women know that that was just one man.
Girls fall in love and chase aimlessly
after the object of their affection,
ignoring all signs.
Grown women know that sometimes the one
you love, doesn't always love you

back-and move on, without bitterness.
Girls will read this and get an attitude.
Grown women will read this and pass it
on to other Grown women and their male
friends^_^

Sitti Navarro

Posted by soreal

Our country is a brooding place for homegrown talents and it is undeniable that we are born singers. It is not saying we are all vocally gifted, but we all can sing (videoke, karaoke, tagay na pre) One of the rising singers that I’m proud of is the Bossa Nova artist Sitti Navarro. Her soothing voice best compliments the music genre she fosters. I'm not a critique but as somewhat of a jazz enthusiast and a music freak in general, I must say that Sitti nailed it. It was not so long ago when she made her debut but already she has made ripples in the music pond and sure wish to hear more songs from her.

I have not seen nor hear her live performance but I sure hope to catch her next big one. I’ve posted the “Sitti Live in Butuan” concert poster for the particulars but I thinks it's too small. It will be on the 13th of April
at Almont Inland Convention Center, Butuan City. Tickets are available at 250, 500 and 1,000 Php. Cheers!
