Moving Out

Posted by soreal

Today we move to another place. Dada is still asleep and is not in a hurry in any way. I understand, I mean we have everything boxed but I am in no hurry to leave as well. The landlady is a really warm person and is already a friend that is why this is kind of difficult for us (sigh). The most difficult part for me was telling Te Nene that we are moving out but it turned out better than I expected because she is such an angel.

So why move out?

Because it is not working out for us here. I mean the place is great and all but it turned us into lazy hogs. All we do is sleep and eat and the only exercise we ever get is climbing the stairs up the rooftop. We have gained so much weight the moment we got here huhuhu we hardly get anything done because we keep putting it off. Like how many times have we planned on going out to do this and that but ended up sleeping the entire day instead? I'm such a lazy hog I don't even go out to shop anymore, I have sucked into the online shopping fever. I have nothing against online shopping, I love it but it certainly robbed the fun out of shopping, the part where you have to actually fit into the clothes and shoes before you actually pay.

I'm not even going to get started with Dada hihi

I will write to let you all know about the new place we are moving into. For now, I'll let the keyboard rest.

The Magic of Blue Magic

Posted by soreal

I love this store; I love all the cute huggables they have inside their store. I feel warm and light everytime I visit their store, it’s like being in a magical place with so many cute and magical items around. I have never purchased anything for myself in their shop though. I believe that every item inside are meant to be gifts for people you love. I have gotten my share of gifts from this shop some trinkets and thinggumies from friends and of course their specialty, the stuffed toys. The first stuffed animal I got was a white bear given by an ex-boyfriend which I gladly gave out to a street child when we broke up. I sure made the kid happy! The 2nd one is a brown bear that we named “Mumble” after the penguin character in the Happy Feet movie. The 3rd one and I must say my favorite is a pink pig that I named “Gloria” after Mumble’s love interest in the movie. A pig named Gloria and a bear named Mumble, what a very odd couple!

There is just one thing that doesn’t seem to fit in Blue magic and I don’t know if I’m the only one who thinks this or not. Have you seen their staff’s outfit? The girls wear skimpy black suits and skimpy mini skirts matched with black stockings and black shoes. I’m not saying they don’t look good though, I mean it must be a requirement for them to have long legs and all but come on, it’s a store that sells cute stuffed animals not a lingerie shop. Even their guys look like they’re selling insurance policy or something. What I would love to see, so as to make the place even more magical are sales people wearing cute and silly animal outfits and big happy smiles.

Inflatable For Rent

Posted by soreal

My friends and I were at the mall the other day and saw some huge Inflatable Party Rentals. My favorite is the Tunnel Combo. The ways these creations inflate make it really desirable for party rentals. It can be taken anywhere so long as there is a space to set it up. Water Slide Party Rentals are best for pool and beach parties.

Home Make Over

Posted by soreal

I saw in one reality show where a woman’s house was given a classy make over. Gone were her old furniture, crappy rags and even the boring wall. Her house just looked amazingly different. She now has a cartwheel bench, glass sink, and a really marvelously huge painting. An empty corner was even transformed into a reading nook, isn't that something? She nearly cried when she saw the transformation.

Life Lock Protection

Prevention is always better than cure. This is applicable not only for our health but it also goes for our security. Why do we have to wait till we get robbed before we keep ourselves protected? Cyber crime and identity theft is spreading like fire not only locally but in the international scene as well. What is even scarier is the fact that there are actually organizations that back this type illegality up. Scams online are getting more and more legitimate looking and thieves are getting more daring and aggressive. With this, nobody can be too careful.
Life lock however, lets us live a worry-free life by giving us 24/7 protection against identity theft and the many forms of fraudulent activities. It simply is the best and most trusted identity theft prevention service today. Don’t let unlawful acts like this lead you to your destruction because it is our responsibility to protect our assets. Of course don’t just take my word for it. Many satisfied subscribers have given a lifelock review and you can be the next one to share your success story. Bills, Bills, Bills

Posted by soreal

If you find yourself living in a bill-free life, then you better pinch yourself coz you’re dreaming big time. Bills are normal and it comes every month just like our paycheck. I call it the dough killers, why? Well it is obvious why. It eats up our cash if we get too careless around it.

Bills scare me like that killer clown in the movie. It stalks and haunts especially if you miss a payment. In my monthly budget pie, a large portion always goes to bills and whatever is left, I use it for more important things in life like shopping. I wish it’s the other way around though, I wish I have a bigger slice for shopping and leisure gggrrrr!!

I love Juno

After watching Juno this morning, I couldn’t help but think how I would have done it if I were Juno. Well first stop I’m sure my parents will not be as understanding and merciful as hers have been. If you have not seen this movie, please do and I swear it’s going to crack you up. Those who have seen the movie know that Juno Macguff is a 16 year old girl who unfortunately got pregnant after she decided to have sex (ouch!) with her best guy buddy Paulie Bleeker played by Michael Cera. What started with a chair, ended with a chair. But what makes the movie outstanding is the wistful comedy in between. The growing up process or as Juno puts it, “dealing with stuff beyond my maturity level”.

The movie is full of funny lines and I have so many favorites to even make mention. I started laughing in the opening line when Ellen Page (Juno MacGuff) yelled at her dog, GEEZ Banana! Shut your freakin' gob ok!haha shame on you Banana!

Ever Heard of a Christian Cruise?

Posted by soreal

We just go a letter from our church pastor who now lives in California. Inside the envelope was a picture of him and his family, they are all in the United States now. It has been almost a year since they were last here and because they live next door to us, we can’t help but miss them. They were the best neighbors ever.

In the letter he talked about how they just got back from a cruise and how now they are entertaining the plan of going on yet another one. They must have really enjoyed their first adventure then. This made me think of the Christian Cruises that I have just happened upon online. If only it is within my means to set them up for a Christian Cruise, I really would. I know they would love the idea of visiting those historical places mentioned in the Bible, having Bible teachings on board while meeting other Christians from all over the world.

I’m not sure how long Christian Cruises have existed but I do know that if I were present when the first cruise ship set sailed, I would have felt this wonderfully warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Ever Heard of a Christian Cruise?

Little Sister No More

Posted by soreal

My friendster account is not as updated as it was a few weeks ago because I’m busy with my baby. So now you’re asking. “Who is your baby? Is dada your baby?” No. This is my baby, my blog is my baby but let’s leave that statement as it is because I will not expound on that today.

So anyway, I was just checking out my friends in friendster when I noticed my sister’s profile picture. She is with a guy and the guy is not bad looking at all. I left a photo comment and also texted her. The big sister inquiring about the identity of the cute stranger haha I was half-expecting her answer but still it’s I bit of a shocker because ladies and gents, this little sister happens to be the youngest in the brood and part of me is not ready to let her grow up yet. The guy is her boyfriend

My sis and I are tight because I’m the “cool ate”. Still I couldn’t help but tell her, “The guy looks older like he is in college”. And then my sis replied, “I am in college as well, 2nd year”. It was at that moment when I realized that my baby sister is not a baby anymore. She has become her own woman.

I remember when I was her age, I felt all grown up. I remember how grown ups like my parents think how tender my age was. Now I think I know what they meant. I can’t help but feel my little sister is still a kid. But I know better than to meddle in her life. I know how difficult her age is, I’ve been there and I’m done there. I know how teens hate it when grown ups meddle and control them. So I will give my 2 cents every now and then and trust that at the end of the day, she’s able to make the right choices.

A Case of The BF's Parents

Posted by soreal

Ok so I always have a thing about not wanting to be introduced to my bf's parents. Can you blame me if I hate the feeling of being appraised like jewelry about to be pawned? I mean try it, you have a casual introduction but don't let that fool you; nothing is ever casual. You are always being watched. You want to be as prepared as you can when you meet them.

Make a checklist of the things you need to do. When putting make up on, do it in a well lit room. A dim room is good for a romantic setting but not if your doing your brows. Do you really want you're bf's mom to think, "Her eyebrows are not even, can you believe that? I wonder what else is not even with her" no you don't want that. So you better chew your food well and make sure every morsel that enters your mouth is just the right size. If it's too little they will notice and you're "arte" if it's too big you're "habahab"

Another thing is giving them a dose of their own medicine, appraise them as well. Magnify every wrinkle you see or look at how their lips move when talking. It will surprise you how those little things will make you laugh out loud in bed.

My Cute Little Nephew

Posted by soreal

We went to home to Butuan to attend the 1st Birthday of my first ever pamangkin. Meet baby Sander, my oh-so-cute nephew! He smells so nice all the time, even his morning breath has none of the adult stink hehe. I don't know why babies smell so nice all the time but i'm glad they do. He is not fat but he eats everything you put into his mouth and he is heavy. I think the longest time I carried him was only about 10 minutes then I gave him to my father.
I bet if baby Sander can talk and you ask him who his favourite person is then he would answer, "lolo". They both share a really tight bond together. My father is the only person who can ever make him stop crying. Everytime he hears my father's voice, doesn't matter what he is doing (even when he is being nursed), he would perk up and crawl towards the voice. My father even has a silly song for him, a lullabye and it is really silly hihi I bet when Sander grows up he would think it's silly too but right now for him it's medicine.
Sander's Lullabye
Langga ni Lolo, Langga kaayu
Palangga-langga ni Lolo (
repeat 10x)
