After watching Juno this morning, I couldn’t help but think how I would have done it if I were Juno. Well first stop I’m sure my parents will not be as understanding and merciful as hers have been. If you have not seen this movie, please do and I swear it’s going to crack you up. Those who have seen the movie know that Juno Macguff is a 16 year old girl who unfortunately got pregnant after she decided to have sex (ouch!) with her best guy buddy Paulie Bleeker played by Michael Cera. What started with a chair, ended with a chair. But what makes the movie outstanding is the wistful comedy in between. The growing up process or as Juno puts it, “dealing with stuff beyond my maturity level”.

The movie is full of funny lines and I have so many favorites to even make mention. I started laughing in the opening line when Ellen Page (Juno MacGuff) yelled at her dog, “GEEZ Banana! Shut your freakin' gob ok!”haha shame on you Banana!

A bucket list is a list of the things a persons wants to do before he dies or as the expression goes, before he kicks the bucket. This movie is about two very different individuals with cancer stuck together in a hospital room and how each of them learned from each other in the process of following the bucket list they made. They have become really good friends despite their striking difference. They have touched and healed each others lives in the 3 months they spent alive together.

Jack Nicholson who plays the eccentric, corporate billionaire Edward Cole and Morgan Freeman who plays the charismatic mechanic, amateur historian Carter Chambers were both in their acting best in this movie. I never thought I would cry in a Nicholson and a Freeman movie but I did with this one. I cried buckets.

Would you believe if I tell you I have never seen Mel Gibson's Braveheart movie till just now? And I’m crying like crazy while typing furiously. Good movies make me cry, heck that Transformer movie even made me cry. It was the scene where they were torturing William Wallace that tears just started falling. It always breaks my heart when I see evil men hurting beautiful people, especially beautiful people who believe in something as pure as freedom. You should have heard me sob my heart out when Mel yelled, "FREEDOM" and then beheaded. Its way too late for my review but Braveheart is a wonderful movie.
All this crying is making me sad and depressed that now I want to eat Leche Flan. So what did I learn? Braveheart is not good for my diet!

All of you movie buffs out there might find this tidbit interesting. An X-Men 4 movie will be released sometime this year if everything goes well with production. Expect to meet more mutant characters this time around along with the old ones of course. In this new installment, Professor X, Jean and Cyclops are all going to be present. Is that really surprising? How many times have a comic book character died only to be resurrected one way or another. X-Men 3 was really great so they better make sure the 4th one can top it.

I love it everytime a marvel comicbook superhero comes to life in the big screen. This time it is Iron Man's time to shine. I have only been introduced to his character recently and I can't help but be impressed. With Robert Downy Jr as the man inside the iron suit; I’m sure this is going to be one great movie experience. Of course I will give the movie my final verdict after I’ve watched it. I hope it's not going to be a disappointment. Several movies have really good marketing campaigns but in the end fell short in delivering a big-bang impact. Two examples are Cat Woman and Jumper. Oh well I think Iron Man will be shown the next picture in Ayala and dada and I can't wait!
