I have finally gone out with my team again. It's been awhile and I didn't realize I miss everyone. Yeah we do have fun in training and the people I directly interact with are fun people but I miss people in Ops. I miss my TL and my teammates. I wanted to say no to the team potluck last Friday, in fact I think I did back out at the last minute but Wena convinced me to go haha so I did and I'm glad. I just hated leaving them so early because I still had a class. I have posted a snippet of the affair.

When Dada’s teammate went home to Bacolod, he gave her 500Php budget for Bacolod-made delicacies as “pasalubong”. I was shocked to see so much food on our mini table when I got home yesterday. We ate some and I gave some to my friends at work and we still have this much today. There is just more than enough for both of us. It’s very distracting to see this much food around especially when you’re trying to lose weight.

My friend Wena has been bugging me for a treat and to shut her up (hehehe) Dada and I obliged. We had a late dinner over at Casa Verde in IT Park. When Dada and I got there, the place was packed so we had to wait for some customers to leave. Casa Verde is one of our favorite places to dine in because of the service and the food obviously but we have never been to the IT branch. So like critiques, Dada and I ordered and patiently waited for Wena and Michy to arrive.

I was disappointed that they only had one last serving of Brian’s Ribs because it is my favorite. I let Dada have it and I ordered something else, something not as delicious. When Wena and Michy arrived they didn’t waste, they ordered right away. It’s everyone’s off except for Michy so her comment was, “service here is kinda slow” because it was only her lunch break. We tempted her not to back to work and just spend the evening with us but she graciously declined.

Wena ordered some pasta but her dessert came before the meal itself hihihi In the main Casa Verde branch, when we order dessert they always ask if we want it served after we are done with the full meal. That is something they failed to ask us. Common sense though would tell anyone that a dessert follows a meal so it has to be served after the meal is over, especially if the dessert has anything that melts on it like ice cream.

We had a few laughs over dinner. It was fun, just unwinding, talking to friends and gossiping. Its something we have not done for a very long time. I didn’t realize I’ve missed Wena so much till tonight. Oh the fun we used to have together. I came to accept the fact that our lives changed and we can not bring those days back. We both have different priorities now. Indeed, memory serves a good reminder of what we can never have back. Well that doesn’t mean we can not try to have special moments, right? To prove my point, just like old times I finished off Wena’s pasta tonight haha the girl can never finish her food^_^

Today is our wave's 2nd anniversary but I didn't make it to the celebration just like last year. Ask me why people. Well dada won't give me my phone and he knows very well I can't leave the house without my phone. I'm so angry I can kill someone right now. So instead of committing murder, I thought why not blog about it and this time around I won't let him stop me from doing so. I have wanted to blog about the several times we fought but he just stops me everytime. I don't know if it embarrasses him of what not. So anyway, he is packing his things as I type.

(after what seemed like an eternity of yelling, bitching and cussing)

Well we ended up bingeing at Larsian. Two angry people eating like there’s no tomorrow.

Would you believe if I tell you I have never seen Mel Gibson's Braveheart movie till just now? And I’m crying like crazy while typing furiously. Good movies make me cry, heck that Transformer movie even made me cry. It was the scene where they were torturing William Wallace that tears just started falling. It always breaks my heart when I see evil men hurting beautiful people, especially beautiful people who believe in something as pure as freedom. You should have heard me sob my heart out when Mel yelled, "FREEDOM" and then beheaded. Its way too late for my review but Braveheart is a wonderful movie.
All this crying is making me sad and depressed that now I want to eat Leche Flan. So what did I learn? Braveheart is not good for my diet!

I'm a very, very bad girl tonight! Well let’s just say I’ve broken several rules in one setting. Aside from the usual non-work related sites that I access while at work (blogger, friendster, istorya), I broke another rule tonight hihi Can you guess? I have a huge container on sinful peanut butter with me and I’m eating the content using a spoon from the pantry which I managed to smuggle inside the production floor. Don’t ask me where I got the peanut butter from. Some people go banana over jam or jelly, well peanut butter has that effect on me. It’s like Smeagol’s relationship with The Ring. I call it my precious then I devour it with lust. I can just eat and eat and eat it till my tummy hurts. Oopps, bathroom break!
