Kimono Dress

Posted by soreal

Weeehhhh! I just got one of the three itmes I purchased online hehehe and it even came with a phone charm freebie (so cute) I can't wait to try the Kimono on and post pictures but for the moment I will let you see the dress anyway. I love the deep cut of both the front and back side, so sexy I swear. Cheers! ^_^

Another Off

Posted by soreal

I like the Monday & Tuesday off but not the 7pm shift packaged with it. It's because sleep comes to me at around 3pm so you do the math. Maybe I should just change my sleeping pattern and learn how to sleep during mornings instead of afternoons. I enjoy going home while the sun is still not up though and I love how Dada and I have the same days off. We have more time together, we go to the malls, eat out, take pictures and watch movies. ^_^
how do you find these photoshoot samples?

Made A Bid Again

Posted by soreal

Well i'm just waiting for the other 3 items i've won in ebay.ph to be sent to me. I should have them this week and i'm so excited to wear them, snap a shot and post it here hehe I'm bidding for another item, it's another poncho to be exact. Dada asked, "what's with you and ponchos and kimonos?" hehe what indeed! cheers!

What Do You Do When You're Bored?

Posted by soreal

Let me start this post out with a big yawn (yawning). Since i'm at work and there really is nothing to do here at the moment (yawning again) might as well just right about it. We're left with the task of entertaining ourselves. So what do you guys do when there's nothing to do at work and you're bored to death? Some of my friends are playing TexTwist or Puzzle (been there) others are watching movies (done that) (yawning again)

So can anyone help me out? -_-

Birthday Breakfast w/o the Celebrant

Posted by soreal

It was Dada's 22nd birthday yesterday (Holy Thursday) so this is a late post. He was unhappy about the fact that his birthday fell on a day when society takes a halt in yielding to carnal pleasure. He works in Banawa so he couldn’t be with me and Wena that morning to have an early morning celebration. That didn’t stop us from eating heartily though hehe Wena and I celebrated his birthday with a sizable breakfast at Mocha Blends. I had Carbonara which I absolutely loved, Bolognese which I didn’t enjoy so much and House Blend Iced Tea Wena had Australian Beef Stew, Napolitana and Strawberry Kiwi. We never intended to gorge so much that morning but we did anyway and we went home each feeling queasy. That explains why I wasn’t able to post this yesterday instead.

The Vanity Tumbler

Posted by soreal

Well I don't know if you've seen one before and I wouldn't have thought a tumbler like this one existed. It's a tumbler with mirror, cute if you ask me hehe very handy for that quick fix or if you want to check your face while working at your desk. You wouldn't look so obvious unlike when you open your purse and take out a compact mirror. Don't ask me where I bought it coz it's one of those customized corporate prizes. It's Dada's but he gave it to me since he figured I would have more use for it anyway.

My Ebay Bids

Posted by soreal

I just won my first ever ebay.ph bid last Sunday. It's a pre-loved pink poncho. I met up with the seller last Sunday and I was very pleased with her and the item. These days I find myself attracted to Kimono dresses, wraps and ponchos. I love the cut, it compliments every girl's figure and makes me feel very feminine. The 2nd item I won at ebay.ph is this lovely black Kimono dress and it's not pre-owned^_^

Monday Off

Posted by soreal

So finally Dada and I have same days off (mon & tues). We left the house at 9am Monday, went to the bank and made a deposit. We saw freaky and his bebe at F salon getting a haircut. I decided to try their services coz they're new and I was feeling like a critique (winks) I had the Choco something treatment ( I forgot the actual name) but the treatment left my hair smelling like chocolate and super shiny! Dada said my hair's choco smell makes him want to chew it off grrr since I had such a wonderful experience with them, I decided to become a customer right away. We went to Nuat Thai after for an hour massage and it was so relaxing! Dada and I agreed that we like their massage better than Body n Sole's. I will got there another time for an hour feet massage.

Girls VS Grown Women

Posted by soreal

Want to share a very nice forwarded email:

Girls want to control the man in their life.
Grown women know that if he's truly
hers, he doesn't need controlling.
Girls check you for not calling them.
Grown women are too busy to realize you
hadn't.
Girls are afraid to be alone.
Grown women revel in it-using it as a
time for personal growth.
Girls ignore the good guys.
Grown women ignore the bad guys.
Girls make you come home.
Grown women make you want to come home.
Girls leave their schedule wide-open and
wait for a guy to call and make plans.
Grown women make their own plans and
nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits.
Girls worry about not being pretty
and/or good enough for their man.
Grown women know that they are pretty
and/or good enough for any man.
Girls try to monopolize all their man's
time (i.e., don't want him hanging with
his friends).
Grown women realize that a lil' bit of
space makes the "together time" even
more special-and goes to kick it with
her own friends.
Girls think a guy crying is weak.
Grown women offer their shoulder and a
tissue.
Girls want to be spoiled and "tell"
their man so.
Grown women "show" him and make him
comfortable enough to reciprocate
without fear of losing his manhood.
Girls get hurt by one man and make all
men pay for it.
Grown women know that that was just one man.
Girls fall in love and chase aimlessly
after the object of their affection,
ignoring all signs.
Grown women know that sometimes the one
you love, doesn't always love you

back-and move on, without bitterness.
Girls will read this and get an attitude.
Grown women will read this and pass it
on to other Grown women and their male
friends^_^

Sitti Navarro

Posted by soreal

Our country is a brooding place for homegrown talents and it is undeniable that we are born singers. It is not saying we are all vocally gifted, but we all can sing (videoke, karaoke, tagay na pre) One of the rising singers that I’m proud of is the Bossa Nova artist Sitti Navarro. Her soothing voice best compliments the music genre she fosters. I'm not a critique but as somewhat of a jazz enthusiast and a music freak in general, I must say that Sitti nailed it. It was not so long ago when she made her debut but already she has made ripples in the music pond and sure wish to hear more songs from her.

I have not seen nor hear her live performance but I sure hope to catch her next big one. I’ve posted the “Sitti Live in Butuan” concert poster for the particulars but I thinks it's too small. It will be on the 13th of April
at Almont Inland Convention Center, Butuan City. Tickets are available at 250, 500 and 1,000 Php. Cheers!

I Overslept

Posted by soreal

Let me start off with a big sigh (sigh). Remember the outreach? Well I didn't make it. Hey, I did have all the intention of going. I even slept early this morning and I had my alarm set to sound off at 11am so I would have plenty of time to prepare since the rendezvous in I2 is still at 1pm...but I was in a deep coma-like sleep, a fire alarm wouldn’t have done it. I woke up when dada arrived and that was already past 2pm hehehe both my smart and sun phones had several missed calls and messages (go figure). Tadz and Aisah will probably kill me; I know they’re thinking I stood them up. Well physically I did but my spirit was with them the whole time.

Outreach Later

Posted by soreal

Hiya guys! I'm suppose to spend quality time in my blog this morning but the EET group will have another outreach later so I need to sleep huhuhu I can't back out coz I already promised Tadz. Besides, I love these kind of activities (so typical of a Libra). The last time, it was a night school for working students that we visited and it gave me a different kind of high seeing all the hopeful faces af those kids. Later it will be an old folks' home that we'll go to. I'm not sure where yet but Aisah said it's over at Talamban. I wish Dada can make it right after his shift but I think he would be so pooped out by then. (yawns) I really must hit the sack now-_-

Things You Don't Know About ME

Posted by soreal

Got this very interesting tag from Twinks; who’s on her way to Pinas right now. I've just discovered 10 wonderfully interesting facts about her and now it’s my turn to spill the beans.

  1. I was a bit of a tomboy while growing up and I was one of those kids at school who bully other kids though they were a lot bigger than me hahaha Thank God, I have grown out of that stage!
  2. This one is more of a confession hehe I worked as a Radio Host in 102.3 Killerbee Butuan some years ago. I was on board for one of the late night shows, I think it was Monday Sucks but I can’t be too sure. Anyway, I felt the sudden urge to pee, I tried holding it but it was one of those rare cases when you just had to do it pronto. I didn’t make it to the restroom. I used the empty Dunkin Donuts cup instead and did it inside the booth, isn’t that nasty??!! hehe
  3. I love eating eyes, yes eyes not ice. Fish’s eyes to be more specific hehe some of my friends can’t stand it. Doesn’t matter how the fish was cooked (sinugba, tinola, paksiw, prito, etc,) or how big it is. One time I asked one of the fish vendors if they sell fish eyes and I remember how he laughed and said that I need to buy the whole fish.
  4. Want to study photography or psychology. I like to think I have an eye for beauty hehe I really do love taking pictures and then experiment with it. When I’m captivated by a certain photograph I just stare and stare at it to figure out what’s making it stand out. Psychology coz The human mind astounds me that is why I also want to study it, what makes it tick, etc…^_^
  5. Enclosed spaces scare me so I think that makes me claustrophobic. I do ride elevators, but I get so freaking uneasy if it’s packed with people. Whenever I’m in a place where there is not much room for movement or anything else, I get paranoid, would start feeling suffocated and angry, my head would spin and the first thought is, “I gotta get out”.
  6. I don’t like wearing shorts because I have this huge birthmark on my right leg. It goes in clusters like a map so whenever I get asked about it I tell them it’s a Philippine map then takes them to a guided tour of the whole archipelago. The geography lessons are more exciting for Dada though hehehe
  7. I’m into spicy food! I put “sili” in my viand and my dip. I think that if someone can make spicy desserts and still manage to make it taste great then it would be a hit.
  8. My grandparent’s have an albino carabao. It is such a beautiful and gentle animal, whenever I visit the farm I would always ask to ride on ‘Puti” yep we’ve named it. My friends didn’t think there are white carabaos till I showed them the picture.
  9. I’m a Libra which makes me a fair and balanced person in a detached way. Like most people under this sign, I’m narcissistic (mejo), bossy, charitable, dresses up for the occasion, love art, popular and a slight perfectionist. Libras love beauty, gifts, debates, attention, intellectual conversations, admiration, credit cards hehe, mingling, subtle colors, textures and haute couture^_^
  10. Happy and sad movies make me cry hehe heck, I even cried while watching that Transformers movie.

Enough said about me, it’s time I get to know these other people better: mier, eds, denzyl, joy and bunso. Cheers!

My Morphs

Posted by soreal

It's my off and I found this interesting site that let's you morph photos. I gave it a try and I morphed my pic with some celebrities. Tell me which one is your fave.

1 Me and Amber Benson - Nice but I don't see much of my features except for the lips.

2 M e and Avril Lavigne - It's like Avril with a fatter face hehe

3 Me and Drew Barrymore - There is so little of me, mostly on the cheeks portion hehe

4 Me and Kristin Kreuk - I love this, first it's all Kristin but if you really stare at it you'll see me.

5 Me and Michelle Branch - My fave!! It really combined our features so well. The brows, eyes, nose, lips & cheeks shows us both. Neither of us dominates.

The Treat

Posted by soreal

Well if you remember in some of my old posts, I have blatantly written how I’m the one that keeps putting together surprises for Dada and his response to that is regularly bringing huge Cadbury Caramel Chocolates right after work (that is just one of the many reasons why I’m growing like a healthy baby daily). But last Monday morning, he surprised me big time! I’m romantic yes but deep-down, I’m just a material girl (winks) He fetched me from work and then we had breakfast. When we got home, he asked me to check under the pile of pillows. To my surprise underneath was a box inside the “What a Girl Wants” package. When I pulled it out I was greeted with a box and inside was a pair of really cute, white Havaianas. That was enough to make me throw myself to him in a playful embrace. But wait, he’s not done. Like a magician, he made another box appear or maybe I was too preoccupied hugging him so I didn’t notice where the box was from, oh it couldn’t be, could it?! Yes, a Converse shoebox! It was the Chucks that did it and I just had to shower him with kisses, need I say more?

Sikwate

Posted by soreal

We woke up super early today; well technically we never really slept. Whenever we have the time, we always go to "Siomai sa Tisa" at Fuente. The most that we've eaten so far, if I remember right, is around 20pcs siomai and 8pcs puso. Yeah I know the place is not the most hygienic place you can eat at but it just has this appeal that makes everyone keep coming back. I think it was already around 6am when we went to Carbon. I have kept begging Dada to go to Carbon with me so I can see all the spices and vegetables. He would say, "But you don't buy" and I would retort, "Because we don't have time to cook but I used to cook back home and I miss it. Let's go and pretend." So we went there. I love the hassle and bustle; even the stench of fish and sweat that makes my nose wrinkle is something that I didn’t really mind early this morning. The only thing I didn’t like is the wet and sooty ground. I walked carefully so as not to have any mud get into my toes. We bought “kakanins, walis ting-ting & tabliya”. I made 2 cups of hot and savory “sikwati” just the way my grandma used to make it when I was at kid and we visit them at the farm. When I think about it, sipping hot “sikwati” early morning is one of my best childhood memories. Hhhmmm..I only had to close my eyes while I sip and I’m back at the farm in Davao.

Women's Day Award

Posted by soreal

Love this award from Twinks2!! It made me feel sooo womanly^_^

A woman has strength that amaze men.
She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love, and opinions.
She smiles when she feels like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying,
cries when she's happy and laughs when she's afraid.
Her love is unconditional!
There's only one thing wrong with her,
She sometimes forgets what she is worth...

Pass this on to every beautiful woman you know.
I just did!

Therapy For Cramps

Posted by soreal

How's everyone? Better than me I hope. I have abdominal cramps and every girl I know who has had this knows for a fact it's terrible. Well I don't really like taking any medicine other than the ever reliable generic pain reliever. I'm glad it always does the trick. Another form of therapy is going on a movie marathon hehe till I fall asleep. Yesterday I was in the mood for ghastly horror films. I like it when a movie gives me a good scare but not all the time. Today, I’m into romantic comedies that leave viewers in a “feel good" state.

This is off the subject but I want to post our pic hehehe cheers^_^

All Girl Breakfast

Posted by soreal

The girls and I decided to have breakfast together right after yesterday's shift. So this post is a day late hehe That was the first time that Aisah, Jen, Ching, Wena and I ate breakfast together since..since..geezz I can't even remember!
I'm not in the pic coz I was the one who captured the shot (hmp). We talked about a lot of stuff like work and how de-motivated we all are. Sometimes it takes all the coaxing and literally talking to ourselves in front of the mirror just so we can get our cute buns to work. We love our work, we do and we love pay day even better. It just gets so old and exhausting you know, doing the same thing over and over. Sure we always try to keep work fun and keep a positive attitude but it’s like this; even people who gets payed for sex get tired of what they do. These are people being payed for something that everyone loves except for those struck with frigidity. Point is that this is a normal phase and everyone experiences this once or twice in their lifetime. We’ll come around soon enough, I hope.^_^

The Acting Job

Posted by soreal

When you have been doing something for a very long time, it doesn't even matter whether you still like it or not. Your body just mechanically performs. You smile because you always smile. You're polite because it's what society requires although deep inside you just want to be rude at that certain moment even if you know remorse will follow after. You listen or at least pretend to; you've gotten quite good at looking very interested with the chitchats when you just want to yell, "stop whining". You talk animatedly and make everyone laugh. Does it even matter that you really just want to shut everyone out? No, it doesn't. When you only want to watch from a distance and not get involved; your automated clone saves you. It functions just as the regular you would and nobody can even tell the difference. Nobody knows your faking it. Life after all is one big acting job and everyone is an instant actor; just pour hot water, stir and let the cameras roll.
