How's everyone? Better than me I hope. I have abdominal cramps and every girl I know who has had this knows for a fact it's terrible. Well I don't really like taking any medicine other than the ever reliable generic pain reliever. I'm glad it always does the trick. Another form of therapy is going on a movie marathon hehe till I fall asleep. Yesterday I was in the mood for ghastly horror films. I like it when a movie gives me a good scare but not all the time. Today, I’m into romantic comedies that leave viewers in a “feel good" state.

The girls and I decided to have breakfast together right after yesterday's shift. So this post is a day late hehe That was the first time that Aisah, Jen, Ching, Wena and I ate breakfast together since..since..geezz I can't even remember!
I'm not in the pic coz I was the one who captured the shot (hmp). We talked about a lot of stuff like work and how de-motivated we all are. Sometimes it takes all the coaxing and literally talking to ourselves in front of the mirror just so we can get our cute buns to work. We love our work, we do and we love pay day even better. It just gets so old and exhausting you know, doing the same thing over and over. Sure we always try to keep work fun and keep a positive attitude but it’s like this; even people who gets payed for sex get tired of what they do. These are people being payed for something that everyone loves except for those struck with frigidity. Point is that this is a normal phase and everyone experiences this once or twice in their lifetime. We’ll come around soon enough, I hope.^_^

When you have been doing something for a very long time, it doesn't even matter whether you still like it or not. Your body just mechanically performs. You smile because you always smile. You're polite because it's what society requires although deep inside you just want to be rude at that certain moment even if you know remorse will follow after. You listen or at least pretend to; you've gotten quite good at looking very interested with the chitchats when you just want to yell, "stop whining". You talk animatedly and make everyone laugh. Does it even matter that you really just want to shut everyone out? No, it doesn't. When you only want to watch from a distance and not get involved; your automated clone saves you. It functions just as the regular you would and nobody can even tell the difference. Nobody knows your faking it. Life after all is one big acting job and everyone is an instant actor; just pour hot water, stir and let the cameras roll.

Any vacation can turn into a nightmare for a huge archive of reasons. I have asked a few of my friends so I will know what will top the chart. Well it seems that the lack of planning and preparation got majority of the vote. A little spontaneity is never bad but let’s face it; there are certain occasions that just require some degree of preparation. Part of the whole preparation stage is when you make the hotel reservations. This is not something you want to skip out, especially if you’re on your way to honeymoon. If you’re a businessman, you don’t want to go on an important trip abroad to meet potential clients and not have your accommodation all set, right?

Choosing from a number of fine hotels and motels can be a difficult task. You don’t want to end up picking the wrong one; it could ruin the entire reason for your travel. So you check on hotel discounts and promos that could help you arrive at a decision. But more importantly; you ask yourself several questions. Is the location convenient for what I intend to do? What type of service do they offer? Do they allow pets inside? Which one will give me the best value for my money? The answer will depend on your priorities and as you crash out the hotel that doesn’t meet your needs; you will be left with no less than the most appropriate choice. This is now what’s called the elimination process; very helpful indecision-making.

So wherever your desire takes you, no matter what time of the year and whoever you plan to be with at that time; make sure you’ve covered enough of the basics so you can enjoy the moment fully. Plan that long overdue trip with your family and choose from a wide selection of vacation packages. Why? Because you deserve it.

Let me say right ahead that I find the idea of rats or any other rodents in the kitchen very disgusting but Ratatouille made it look oh so cute. What struck me is Anton Ego’s final review; it stirred something deep inside me so I want to share it.

A friend asked, "So A, why do you use Soreal in you blog?" Figured that since I kept being asked and I really hate giving the same answer over and over again; it would be brilliant to just write about it.
Of course as most of you have already cracked, it's not my real name, it's not even my nick. This blog is me, though it reveals but a tiny part of the whole complex me, it’s all as real as it gets. Another reason is that Soreal is an anagram of my name; Alrose. Yes, it is a combination of my parents’ names and judging from experience this is where you try to guess what their names are hehe My friends call me A, R, A.R, Al. Some call me Rose but I don’t like it coz ever since the Titanic movie, I have gotten a lot of. “Where’s Jack?” (as if) There is also another name that my aunts still so fondly call me even though I have made it clear to them that it embarrasses me; they call me “Baleleng”. We all have silly pet names that family members use but it should only be within the family, right? Hahai, I have several Baleleng moments in public that I don’t want repeated, thank you.

Have you ever tried giving your guy or your girl coupons? I’m not talking about discount coupons but love coupons. You can let your imagination just run wild with whatever you want to write. From “30 minute kiss” to “video rental of your choice”. This is just one of the many ways to keep a relationship exciting no matter how long couple’s have been together. I agree with Will Smith when he said that, “go fly a kite together or dance barefoot in the rain together”. Couples have to agree on keeping things interesting because relationships can get old and boring if you allow it. I made some love coupons and gave them to dada. At first he was perplexed as to what those were for. When I explained how it works he flipped! Well if you receive coupons that will practically let you do whatever you want at any given moment, would you not flip as well? hehe Now I can’t help but wonder what coupon his going to use next time. ^_^

Don’t you ever just want to be somewhere else, with someone, and doing whatever instead of where you are now? I don’t want to be working now but I am. I was chatting with wena earlier because we share the same sentiments, she would rather go home she said. I asked her where home is; only to realize it’s very insensitive of me. She said her mom was her home but because her mom passed away last December, she’s practically homeless now. I should be constantly cheering her up not add to her sadness. I wish we could both go back to when it was all about our “laags” together. Like when we went to Kawasan Falls right after my shift and I didn’t bring any clothes with me coz it was not planned. We were so tired that we just slept in the bus on the way home..and oh, coz my undergarments were wet, I went home without wearing any hahaha I miss the good times! So where is home for me? Well, home is where dada is. ^_^

I have not written any recent posts because I've been really busy with everything and nothing altogether. Am I even making sense? There are days when I want to do so many stuff it overwhelms me and I just end up not doing anything at all coz I can't make up my mind which one to do first. (sigh) I admit this has always been my problem. Is there a book out there that talks about effective shortcuts to being decisive? Even choosing which black shoes to wear for work is a battle.
It's daunting to make up your mind or decide on something and take full accountability for it. I so envy people who can be so decided and committed about something that they actually follow through. For me, the more I think, the more difficult it is to finally get to a decision. Maybe that explains why I'm a moment to moment person and that I do almost everything out of impulse. At least that way if I'm wrong then I can say, "Well I didn't really think about it" rather than still be wrong after all the painful thinking.
Uhhmm, I'm not at all THAT bad, it's just that this whole decision-making crap gets to my nerves. For the record, I did make a few right choices you know; some I gave much thought about and some just out of spontaneity. My working in Cebu for instance, this has been I think one of the best decisions I've made so far. It was also a spur of the moment decision; I just jumped right at it without any care of what's gonna happen. That was 2 years ago and I can't help but wonder; as we get older, do we take more risks because we got more insurance or do we make more calculated actions because we can't afford the risk? (ggrrrrr! I should just go on a retail therapy)

Since I already got that Valentine nightmare out of my system, I want to tell you about the best post-valentine's date. Dada surprised me when he got home with a bouquet of the loveliest pink roses I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Earlier in the day we had another argument coz I asked my best guy buddy Mik out for breakfast and well maybe for a little beer (yuck) coz I was depressed; when all the while he thought we will be spending post valentine together. Well I only wanted a guy’s unbiased opinion about what happened the day before, besides it wasn’t going to interfere with whatever he got planned since he wouldn’t be home till late in the afternoon. I was tired, I didn’t want to cause anymore agitation so I gave Mik a rain check on the breakfast.
This is where we can fast-forward to when I got the lovely, pink roses hehe Let me tell you guys a secret, I’m such a sucker for flowers and chocolates and every itsy, bitsy display of affection. I didn’t go all gaga when I got the flowers though; I acted cool haha but kinikilig ako inside. Dada was very charming the whole time (he always is), especially when we got to Casa Verde for dinner. The food was great, the ambiance was amazing but not the place for a lap dance hehe Hmmm that moment was perfect and I was reminded of why I love the guy I was having dinner with. So what if Valentines didn’t turn out the way I planned it? We always paint the town red whenever we’re together and any day is as good as any for a little private striptease ^_^

So you all must be waiting for me to spill the beans now. Last valentines, I wanted to do a striptease for dada uh-hu wicked I know. Got everything ready, the kinky outfit, the music, even got the moves ready. But it didn’t happen at all. Well let’s just say that valentines this year was not what I have hoped for. I have been waiting for that moment since after Christmas and well I guess it’s because I got my hopes so high up (sigh). The surprise worked out perfectly in my head but not in real life. Sad, it got me really upset. That’s why it took too long to write about it. I didn’t want to write while I’m all furious, so I waited till I’ve at least simmered down. I was asleep wearing my pink pajama when he came. He’s in the habit of checking my phone and when he did he also saw the snapshots of the kinky outfit that I did earlier in the day (evil eye). Urgh! What a bummer, I don’t want to do it anymore knowing that he knows what’s coming. So yeah for the record, it turned out bad, poor me! I hope your valentines went better than mine^_-

So where do I start? Well 1^st of all I want to say I deserve to be punished for being lazy the past few days. I think my body is just trying to catch up to all the sleepless nights. Once I hit the sack there is no waking me up till 7 in the PM coz I gotta work at 9pm. Sometimes I even make up excuses to miss work hehe (ooPss..sorry boss) Anyway, it seems like only yesterday when I wrote the post about "Cooking Up A Surprise" and already the event is tomorrow! Everything is just perfect, the way I see it work out in my mind, but..I really have not gotten what I would need yet. Been so engrossed playing it over and over in my head that I totally neglected the fact that there's a lot of work involve for the whole play to be a success. I don't even have the essentials just yet. But hey, no need to fret now coz I'm always good with 11^th hour stuff hehe So what I'm doing today is go out with my friend wena to get everything taken care of. Have to do all that this morning because dada will be home at 2pm (tick-tock)..wish me luck people!

When I’m not blogging, I usually am looking for cool sites that offer a whole lot of games and bonuses. My recent bag is playing online casinos so when I chanced upon casino joyland, I stayed. I love how easy to navigate the site is and the assortment of games to choose from. Joyland casino is perfect for people who value their time even when they play.

Do you sometimes forget what time and day it is? Well I do, and it’s not just sometimes but most of the time. I swear if I don’t have my handy-dandy phone with me to remind me of dates and appointments; I would be so lost in time.

At some government office, a lady asked me what date that day was because she needed it for the form she was filling out. I just stared at her for a minute then said”7^th”. Trouble was, it was the “8^th” and when she submitted the 3 paged document to the attendant, she was asked to do it all over again because the dates were wrong and they wouldn’t accept erasures.

Hey, don’t you guys go thinking it was my fault, I mean I never volunteered the date. Who asked her to ask me what the date was anyway? I wasn’t the only one there. Besides, anyone filling out important, government needed documents should’ve already secured all the needed information including dates before even getting their pen out. Oh well, I did say a quick sorry although it was deliberately her fault. Hmp!

Every so often I find hair on my sheets, pillows and on the floor. I know that it’s normal for hair to fall off on a daily basis because we are also growing hair on a daily basis. This is happening to everyone everywhere so this shouldn’t stress me out but it does. My real concern is that my hair is not as dense as most people’s. What if the amount of hair I grow everyday isn’t equal to the amount of hair I’m losing? That is saying that I’m just not growing enough hair to replace the strands I’m shredding. It is simply a disaster. I know some people look good without hair but bald is not a look that I can pull off.
Fueled with my determination to put a halt to hair loss; I spent hours gathering facts on the internet. I learned about provillus; a natural supplement that gives life back to dead hair follicles. Does provillus work? I’m one of those that asked that question. Yes it does; as a matter of fact, provillus reviews show a steady growth in the number of people already growing their hair back. This is very promising and something I want to try myself.

Think of the people in Africa and how every minute must be excruciating for them. What can I say, deep down I'm really just a brat but I'm thankful that dada is helping me grow up. So instead of complaining, I'm learning to be thankful!

I just could not help but be amused at Twinkltoe's post and how I can so relate to it. I was called "dangas" when I was a kid and I always get into fights coz other kids rile me so much about it. I hated having a wide forehead that I tried so pathetically to hide it with silly bangs. The problem with the bangs is that when my forehead gets damp, the hair group themselves into sections. So I would have sectioned bangs with awkward spaces in between. I know what your thinking, a complete hair mess hehe oh those were the old days. I could never pull off the "bangs" look so I stopped trying a long time ago. Besides, my forehead looks good on me so I flaunt it. Not everyone with wide foreheads carry it as well as Twinks and I do yet still find humor in it(talk about tooting my own horn hehe) More than once, I've made a room burst into laughter with my "dangas" jokes hehe Oh well, you know what they say about women with wide foreheads...^_-

It's a Saturday and my last day of work for the week. So anyway, I finally got the slimming pills I ordered online hehe desperate I know but these are desperate times. I still am a hottie though I've packed a few pounds (ehem) It's just that I can't help but miss the skinnier version of moi. I miss buying clothes off the rack without trying it on first coz I know It'll fit just right. There are times when it's all good but there are also times when I feel terrible. That is why I ordered the slimming pills. The purchase happened on the last week of December (07) but I only got the nofication from the postal office last week (crappie I know) It was only suppose to take 15 days tops since I payed extra for priority. I emailed the merchant when I didn't receive it on the 16th day and I got a reply that it was sent and should have been delivered to me already. The merchant suggested that I check the postal office here but heck, I didn't bother. Will keep you you guys posted and if it works then I'll let you in on it! Cheers!

I always look forward to every 1st of the month because it's our monthsary. I wanted to do something really special for this month so I started the planning about 2 weeks ago. When I started writing the "245 (the equivalent number of days in 8 months) reasons why I love dada", part of me wanted to wait till our 1st anniversary so it will be "365 reasons"; well another part of me couldn't wait though so I did it now for our 8th monthsary. I had to do everything at work because I didn't want to risk dada finding out about it. I've posted the pretty box containing the 245 reasons (handwritten). Most people will find what I did really sweet but I know some people will not get it. I wanted to let the man that I love know my reasons for loving him and I wanted to know my reasons as well. There is something about having it written down that makes it so real. I personally believe that when you love someone, you have to both show it and say it. I have written in an earlier post how I am now in contact with my bestfriend after years of not hearing anything from each other. In her latest message she asked some help with her thesis and it made me realize how she changed. She was never the one to care about school stuff before. In as much as I wanted to help her with it though, I’m already swamped with too much stint at the moment. I know for a fact how infuriating writing an academic paper is. I can’t even remember how many times I have torn or crumpled my research papers and essays back in college before submitting them. These days though, nobody has to endure that same torture when you can have your paper for success done by certified professionals in a few hours depending on the content. What a breather!

Hey guys, I'm blogging at work hehe Anyway, I would like to thank all of you for helping Dada and I decide on the name to give our cute baby bear (how corny can I get hehe) We both love Mumble in the Happy Feet Movie so we are really glad with the voting results. It's our 8th Monthsary today and my surprise for Dada is ready. It's something he's not expecting hehe I will make another post about it. We will go out later in the day to celebrate our day, I'm thinking of maybe even taking Mumbles because I'm sure he also wants to celebrate finally having an official name but I think I would look funny and it would spoil the outfit I have in mind hehe Cheers!
